Description
1 of 252 Super Duties produced in 1973. This 1 is a survivor, unrestored, unmolested. Only 49,000 original miles. 1 of only 4 invited to the "Class on 73 Reunion" at the Muscle Car National, Chicago November 2013. Honoured with a Gold Concourse Award where it scored 975 out of 1000. The judging sheets and award are included. Title, Registration and inspection reports included.
100% original born with engine and transmission. The engine was completely disassembled in late 2013 and inspected. An internal parts inspection identified a collapsed lifter and worn camshaft. The engine was then completely rebuilt by a well-known engine builder then run on a dynamometer producing 401HP. The engine rebuilder preserved all of the original paint and markings on the block during his rebuild in order to retain its survivor status. As a result of his efforts the engine appears as it was originally installed in 1973.
The original Turbo 400 transmission was rebuilt concurrent with the engine
