Description
1974 Pontiac Trans Am SD 455 with all original numbers matching, engine transmission and rear axle. This car has a very interesting history and could be one of a very few that was shipped overseas for offshore delivery. The first owner was an airman in the US Air Force that was stationed in England and the PHS paperwork verifies this with its export designation instead of the usual Pontiac Dealer information.
This SD is pretty much in its original unaltered state. The engine and the carburetor with the correct numbers matching have been rebuilt. The transmission was also rebuilt a couple of years ago. The 3.42 rear axle is quiet, smooth and the posi works great.
The bottom of the car has been cleaned, painted black and it shows very well it is not covered in undercoating, as it was painted very neatly. The paint on the car is from 1992 and is still in very nice condition.
